Firefighter CPAT

Times for the CPAT are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. You will receive a time assignment once you complete your order.

CPAT Instructions:
For the CPAT, Orientation, Practice Test, please make sure you bring valid government-issued photo ID and wear clothing appropriate for the test (long pants, no open heel/toe shoes, no loose jewelry). You are HIGHLY encouraged to bring your own helmet (bike helmet, etc.) and gloves (mechanical, gardening, etc.) with you for the event.

CPAT Equipment & Requirements

  • Long pants are REQUIRED.  You will not be allowed to test in shorts.
  • You are STRONGLY encouraged to bring your own helmet (bike helmet, etc.) and gloves (mechanical, gardening, etc.) with you for the event.
  • You are required to watch the CPAT video BEFORE you arrive. There will not be the option to watch the video at the test center. This video can be found in the “PST Exam Documentation” section of your PST account.

COVID-19 Safety Precautions:

  • Please remain outside of the facility until your scheduled check-in time to avoid gathering in a confined space. The queue for check-in may be outside the building, so please dress appropriately for the weather.
  • Physical distancing of a minimum of six (6) feet is highly encouraged.
  • Your CPAT test will occur in a large warehouse. Masks are not required during your test but are encouraged. Masks may be required in confined areas during check-in.
  • If you are exhibiting any signs/symptoms of illness and/or have an elevated fever, and/or had a COVID-19 exposure in the previous five days, you will be required to reschedule your exam. You will be requested to review a health self-assessment before you are allowed into the testing area.
  • IF YOU ARE SICK OR CONTAGIOUS, PLEASE RESCHEDULE YOUR EXAM!
