Basic Law Enforcement Academy Certification

Must have a current Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission Basic Law Enforcement Academy Certificate or equivalent certification from another state-approved academy and have the ability to obtain an equivalency certification within the first twelve (12) months of employment by meeting the standards of the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission.

Prior Experience Requirement

Have successfully completed the testing process and been hired by another jurisdiction from a civil service commission certified eligibility list or other like process.
