$20. 00 per day that a student officer is assigned to the Field Training Officer

Education Incentive. Effective January 1, 2019, Members of the bargaining unit shall receive premium pay over and above base pay commensurate on the month following the completion of the following provisions: A. 1% increase for an AA degree B. 3% increase for a BA degree C. To receive full incentive pay, the employee shall produce proper documentation for the verification of the degree. 

Longevity shall be paid monthly, after the employee has completed 48 months of service with the Soap Lake Police Department. Longevity shall be paid at the rate of $15.00, times the years of service and then times 24 (pay periods).

Formula Yearly $16 x 4 (Years) x 24 (pay periods) = $1,536.00 $16 x 5 (Years) x 24 (pay periods) = $1,920. 00 $16 x 6 (Years) x 24 (pay periods) = $2,304.00 $16 x 7 (Years) x 24 (pay periods) = $2,688.00 $16 x 8 (Years) x 24 (pay periods) = $3,072.00 Monthly $128.00, $160.00, $192.00, $224.00, $256.00

Benefit Information

Medical: Effective January 1, 2021 the employer agrees to provide medial and group health insurance coverage for each employee and their dependents, through Washington Teamsters Welfare Trust, for each employee covered by this Agreement who are compensated for eighty (80) hours or more in the preceding calendar month, as follows: A. Medical Plan B, including ancillary benefits. 1. Life and AD&D Plan A - $30, 000.00 with $3,000.00 dependent life 2. Time Loss Plan A - $400. 00/week 3. Additional 9-month disability waiver.

Dental: Effective January 1, 2021 the employer agrees to pay into the Washington Teamsters Welfare Tmst for Dental Plan "A" for each employee covered by this Agreement who were compensated for eighty (80) hours in the preceding calendar month to provide dental coverage for the employee and their dependents.

Vision: Effective January 1, 2021 the employer agrees to pay into the Washington Teamsters Welfare Tmst for the EXT vision plan for each employee covered by this Agreement who were compensated for eight (80) hours in the preceding calendar month to provide vision coverage for the employee and their dependents.

City also pays for Life Flight membership.
